Hello creative souls! Margarita Shkludova is here.
Today I have a “Trash to Treasure” project for you. Tin cans are one of my favourite trash items to recycle. This time I chose a sunny orange and gold color combination. A few mould figures, a wonderful chipboard and some old trash got a new life!
I invite you to watch the video tutorial. Enjoy watching!
Below, you'll find a list of the materials used.
Let the warm sunshine charge you with creative energy!
See you!

It's been a long time since I created anything with rust, and for some time I had been thinking about combining rust with a delicate, slightly dirty shade of blue.
The composition is quite simple, because it's just castings and mechanicals, but in this project, I definitely wanted to focus more on the background.

Hello creative friends! I’ve realised that a lot of my projects have celestial themes with stars and moons but I’ve never created a moon-shaped project. I decided that the Man in the Moon would be the perfect subject for this month's Finnabair tutorial!
I started with a moon-shaped MDF base and recreated the surface texture using sand paste to make craters, art stones to add some extra rocky texture and crackle paste to give a rock-like effect.
I used Linen Impasto paint to give the base colour and then picked out the details with Prussian Blue and Ink Black acrylic paints.
I used one of the moon face moulds from Nocturnal Elements as the focal point and created an assemblage around this using a small MDF house, various mould elements, mechanicals and a computer fan.
The man in the moon has been up there a long time so it felt like his little house would be quite grungy looking. I got my rust paste out and gave everything a touch of rusty texture. I finished off the project with some of the new Finnabair waxes to give him some shine!
